I am a filmmaker and multimedia director with over ten years of experience building visual stories across some of the world’s most demanding media environments. What sets my practice apart is an unusual combination of disciplines: a foundation in Mathematics and Computer Science fused with a deep, unrelenting passion for the art of cinema. That intersection is not incidental, it defines everything I do. My approach to production is both creative and highly precise, driven by the conviction that great visuals are never accidental. They are the result of careful, deliberate decisions made at every stage, from the very first concept to the final frame of delivery.
My career has taken me across a wide range of environments, cultures, and formats. At the core of my professional journey is my work for Radio Okapi, the flagship media platform operated by MONUSCO, the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There, I covered documentary reporting in complex, high, stakes contexts that demanded both speed and sensitivity. Simultaneously, I built experience across commercial and documentary productions in South Africa, working within the polished, high, standard production culture of one of Africa’s most competitive media markets. Moving fluidly between these two worlds was transformative. It forged my signature style: the raw, honest emotional power of photojournalism, layered onto the clean, controlled aesthetic of high, end cinematography.
