THE MAN BEHIND THE LENS.

I am a filmmaker and multimedia director with over ten years of experience building visual stories across some of the world’s most demanding media environments. What sets my practice apart is an unusual combination of disciplines: a foundation in Mathematics and Computer Science fused with a deep, unrelenting passion for the art of cinema and multimedia. That intersection is not incidental, it defines everything I do. My approach to production is both creative and highly precise, driven by the conviction that great visuals are never accidental. They are the result of careful, deliberate decisions made at every stage, from the very first concept to the final frame of delivery.

My career has taken me across a wide range of environments, cultures, and formats. At the core of my professional journey is my work for Radio Okapi, the flagship media platform operated by MONUSCO, the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There, in the multimedia department, I covered documentary reporting in complex, high,stakes contexts that demanded both speed and sensitivity. Simultaneously, I built experience across commercial and documentary productions in South Africa, working within the polished, high,standard production culture of one of Africa’s most competitive media markets. Moving fluidly between these two worlds was transformative. It forged my signature style: the raw, honest emotional power of photojournalism, layered onto the clean, controlled aesthetic of high-end cinematography.

But my work extends well beyond the lens. I own the entire production pipeline from first shot to final output. In post-production, I handle video editing, color grading, motion design, and audio mixing, all in,house, all with the same intentionality applied on set. My technical background gives me an edge that few visual directors can claim: I understand the systems, the software architectures, and the workflows that underpin modern media production at a structural level. This translates to efficiency, precision, and a standard of technical quality that is consistent across every deliverable.

My skill set is genuinely versatile. Beyond directing and cinematography, I bring expertise in graphic design and visual identity, web design and multimedia digital production, live broadcasting setup and technical direction, and French voice,over recording, a distinct asset given my bilingual fluency in both French and English. Whether a project demands a fully localized French,language narrative, a broadcast-ready live stream, or a comprehensive visual identity system, I have the range to deliver it without fragmenting the creative vision across multiple vendors.

Having worked in multimedia and diverse cultural contexts and fast-paced production environments throughout Central and Southern Africa, I adapt quickly, to new technologies, new teams, and new briefs. I have trained media teams in Kinshasa, led international campaigns, and built production infrastructure from scratch in resource-constrained settings. That experience has given me a problem,solving instinct and a resilience that shows up in the quality and consistency of the final product, regardless of the conditions on the ground. My goal, in every project and every context, remains constant: to create cinematic visuals that carry real meaning and connect genuinely with audiences around the world.
